An ex-USAAF Dakota, converted in civilian configuration, was the first aircraft of Olympic Airways after the war. Requires the payware MAAM Dakota.

This aircraft, originally a C-54 Skymaster, was purchased initially by 'Hellenic Airlines' during 1949 and operated as passenger liner with T.A.E. and (later) with Olympic until 1957 on the Athens-Rome-Paris-London route.

SX-DAN is shown here displaying full Olympic livery with the red BEA fuselage squares. Nominally delivered to BEA 14 July 1960 as G-APZM it was leased the same day to Olympic Airways. Taking up Greek marks in April 1966 and becomming SX-DAN it was returned to BEA in November 1969.

    Boeing 707-384 in Olympic 60s livrery. In June 1966 Olympic Airways commenced transatlantic services with Boeing 707-384 aircraft. Initially there was a daily service to New York via Rome and Paris, but the following month additional non-stop flights were added. The 5400 miles from Athens-New York took approximately 10 hrs outbound and 9 hours for the return leg.

Airbus A300-605R from HNAC repainted in the short-lived paint-scheme of the olympic airways in the early 90s. The aircraft is called "Macedonia" with registration SX-BEK, it is still used in the OA fleet being one of the most long lived aircrafts in the fleet.
